Child Care On The square is located "on the square" in downtown Painesville, right behind The United Methodist church. We provide both full time and part time child care and developmental services to children from 6 weeks through 12 years of age.
We are open year round from 6:00 am. until 6:00 pm., Monday through Friday. We accept children whose parents pay privately as well as those children who receive subsidy through the Lake County Department of Job and Family Services. We also provide services through the Early Learning Initiative program and a part time preschool program funded in part by the Ohio Department of Education.
Our staff is highly dedicated and qualified to work with children. All teachers have at least a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Preschool to Grade 3 certificate.
Programs:
Our preschool program is a 9 month program designed to prepare children for Kindergarten and is licensed by the Ohio Department of Education.
CCOTS also offers an Early Learning Initiative program that operates full day all year. This is also a Kindergarten readiness program run in collaboration with Lake Geauga United Head Start.
Child Care on the Square participates in the USDA school lunch program and provides breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. We accommodate special dietary needs as well as providing formula and food for Infants.
