Leading the comeback of historic Downtown Painesville
Downtown Painesville matters to all of us. Through the Ohio Main Street Program, the Downtown Painesville Organization is improving the neighborhood’s economy and preserving the history and diversity that makes Painesville a special place.
Our volunteers, interns and board members have rolled up their sleeves to work on projects big and small to improve the community.
NFL Coach Don Shula, a proud Painesville Harvey alum, once said, “The one thing I know is that you win with good people.” And because of good people like you, Painesville is making a comeback.
We are off to a big start!
Since the Downtown Painesville Organization was launched in 2007, more than a dozen new businesses have opened in our resurgent historic district. Old buildings are coming back to life, thousands of new visitors are coming downtown and more and more people who care about Painesville are coming forward to do their part.
Will you join our team and sign the Painesville plege?
Painesville needs you to make this a permanent comeback. By signing the Painesville pledge, you can be a leader of Painesville’s comeback. Donations to the Downtown Painesville Organization, a 501c3 non-profit, are tax deductible, and 100% of your contribution will go directly into neighborhood programs.
